Jessie Mae Plunkett

Danville,VA-   It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Jessie Mae Plunkett of 208 Apt. E., Beavers Mill Road, Danville, VA who passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, Danville, VA.

She was a native of Pittsylvania County, VA the daughter of the late Naomi Cobbs Oliver born July 27, 1944.  She was a member of Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church where she was Mother of the Church and a former usher.

She worked as a farmer.

In addition to her mother, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Maryland Plunkett.

Her survivors include a God Brother, Wesley Cobbs of Danville, VA; dedicated cousin, Mary Jenning of Milton, NC; aunt, Geraldine Reynolds of Blairs, VA; other relatives and friends.
