Semora, NC – It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Floyd Edward Henderson of 13929 Hwy 119 N. Semora, NC, who passed Saturday, May 18, 2019 in the Caswell House of Yanceyville, NC.
He was the son of the late Dewitt Henderson and Bertha Durham Henderson, Born July 21, 1939. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and he was a very active Member of the community before his illness, he would often help others in the community with maintenance projects and lawn services.
He was a employee of Lorillard Tobacco Company before retirement.
He was preceded in death by the following siblings, Alfred, Frank, Lizzie, Bertha "Bible", Clara, John, Henry, Elsie, Willie, James, Moses, George, Glenn, May, Dorothy, Evelyn, Mabel, Lottie, and JC.
His survivors are four sons, Bray Farmer of New York, Everette Motley Sr. (Kelsha) of Roxboro, NC, Darrell Motley of Atlanta, Ga. and Byron Henderson ( Melanie ) of Hillsborough, NC; two daughters, Terisa Epps of Huntsville, Alabama and Jewel Motley of Yanceyville, NC; two sisters, Norma Short and Pansy Stewart both of Semora, NC; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one adopted Godson Travis McGhee; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
