Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Keith Arnold Hughes 59, of 4527 Yarborough Mill Rd. Milton, NC who passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the Person Memorial Hospital Roxboro, NC.

He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of Van Hughes and the late Essie Mae Thaxton Hughes, born July 31, 1959.

Keith was a member of Macedonia AME Church in Milton, NC and was a veteran of the United States Army.

His survivors are Wife, Brenda Robertson Hughes; two sons, Keith Anthony Hughes of Milton, NC and Emmanuel R Hughes of Yanceyville, NC; father, Van Hughes ( Ann )  of Milton, NC; three brothers, Ellis Hughes ( Sandra ) of Danville, Va., Van Hughes ( Arlene ) of Raleigh, NC and Charles Hughes  ( Daisy ) of Roxboro, NC; three sisters, Vanessa Hughes Venable ( Houston ) of South Boston, Va., Deborah Johnson of Yanceyville, NC and Janet Hughes of Roxboro, NC; Step sister, Elizabeth McGhee  ( Darrell ) of Danville, Va.; step brother,  Rev. Norman Scott of Milton, NC;   mother-in-law, Ola Ratliff; father-in-law, James Robertson Sr.; brothers-in-law, James Robertson ( Olivia ), Anthony Robertson ( Yolanda ) and Richard Robertson ( Jennifer ); sisters-in-law, Mary Robertson, Beverly Pinchback, and Swannie Thomas; aunts, Shirley Stewart, Rena Scott, Queen Elliott, and Cora Hughes; uncles, Harry Hughes, Roosevelt Hughes, William Thaxton and Foster Crisp; Three grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
