Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Ruby Willis Graves of 1076 Foster Rd. Yanceyville, NC , who passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 in the UNC Inpatient Hospice Home in Pittsboro, NC.
She was a native of Caswell County, NC, the daughter of the late Walter Willis and Arneda Bushnell Willis, born February 4, 1927. She was a member of New Ephesus Baptist Church, where she was member of the usher board, and missionary circle.
She was a employee of the Caswell County School System in the food service dept. before retirement.
She was married to Percy Graves who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Willis, Ethel Mathews, Queen Graves and Margaret Willis Long; Five brothers, Carnell, Freeman, Bobbie, Walter Jr. and James Willis.
Her survivors are one son, Kenneth Allen Graves ( Millicent ) of Wilson, NC; three daughters, Elvira Graves Howell Raleigh, NC, Debra Carroll Graves of Durham, NC and Janice Graves of Milton, NC; one brother, Marvin Willis ( Ophelia ) of Blanch, NC; two sisters, Wilma Brown of Yanceyville, NC and Nina Haywood of Danville, Va.; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
