Blanch, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Susie Lea of 1750 Slade Rd. Blanch, formerly of School Dr. Yanceyville, who passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in the Brian Center Nursing Facility.
She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late Bailey Lea and Sarah Lea, born July 13, 1929. She was a member of Yanceyville Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Choir, Sunday School, and Culinary Committee.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bailey Jr., William, Linberg, and Fred Lea; three sisters, Rebecca Totten, Sarah Bell Lea and Maude Burwell.
Her survivors are two sisters, Thelma Johnson of Yanceyville, NC and Florene Randolph of Newark, NJ; special niece, Ruth Oliver; other nieces; nephews; and friends.
