Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Alfreda Carolyn Fort Harrison of 150 Little Drive, Yanceyville, NC; who passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023; at her residence.

Alfreda was born in Wake Forest, North Carolina on March 04, 1947; to the late Alfred Fort and Alma Gill Fort.

She was a substitute teacher for the Rockingham Public School Systems in Reidsville, North Carolina.

Alfreda was a member of Zion Gate Apostolic Church, in Yanceyville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Marsh.

Ms. Alfreda Carolyn Fort Harrison leaves to cherish her memories to her three daughters:  Wanda Simpson of Yanceyville, North Carolina, Eva Wimbush of Danville, Virginia, and Kay King (Marcus Pyles) of Milton, North Carolina; her one son:  Alfred Harrison; her six grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren; and her other relatives, and friends.

The Family will be receiving guest at 32 James Foster Road, Yanceyville, NC 27379.

A Family Visitation for Ms. Alfreda Carolyn Fort Harrison will be Monday, February 20, 2023; from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Ms. Alfreda Carolyn Fort Harrison will be Monday, February 20, 2023; at 1:00pm at the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
