Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announced the death of Mr. Aubrey Nelson Foster Sr. of 835 Blackwell Rd. Yanceyville, NC, who passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at his residence.
Aubrey was the son of the late Willie G. Foster and Adelaide Blackwell Foster, born December 15, 1937, in Caswell County, NC. He was a member of Mineral Spring Baptist church, where he was a trustee.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and restaurateur who ran Pan Pan Diner in Durham, NC before retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Fuller and three brothers Willie Roger Foster, Ulysses Foster, and Weldon Foster.
Aubrey leaves to cherish his memories his wife Loretta W. Foster of the home, five daughters, Yvonne Warthen (Eddie) of Pensacola, Florida, Felicia Washington of Carrboro, NC, Erica Brown of St. Louis, MO, Audra Downey of Durham, NC, and Audrey Foster (Gene Smith) of Durham, NC; one son, Aubrey Foster, Jr (Katina) of North East, MD; two sisters, Norma Foster of Yanceyville, NC and Barbara Redding of Yanceyville, NC; one brother, John D. Foster (Eva) of Yanceyville, NC and 14 grandchildren; sister-in-law; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mr. Aubrey N. Foster Sr. will be Friday, February 10, 2023; from 2 pm to 7 pm with the family present from 6 pm to 7 pm in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Aubrey N. Foster Sr. will be Saturday, February 11, 2023; at 1:00pm with family arriving 12:30 pm at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
