Audrey Hamlin Broadnax

Stoneville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Audrey Hamlin Broadnax of 319 Taylor Road Stoneville, NC, who passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the Annie Penn Memorial Hospital, Reidsville, NC.

Audrey was a native of Rockingham County, NC; where she was born on January 23, 1940, to the late Hunter R. Hamlin Sr. and Edna Patterson Hamlin. She was a member of Burning Bush Holiness Church, where she was a former head usher.

She was employed at Stoneville Furniture Company in Stoneville, NC prior to her retirement.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Junior Broadnax; two sisters, Brenda Ann Harper, and Gladys Cummings; two brothers, Hunter R. Hamlin Jr., and William Hamlin.

Audrey Hamlin Broadnax leaves to cherish her memories, one sister, Marie Hamlin Dalton of Reidsville, NC; one uncle, Gilbert Hamlin of Cascade, VA; three daughter nieces. Angie T. Dalton of Reidsville, NC, Patti Faye Broadnax of Eden, NC, Tonya Short (Harvey) of Cascade, VA; two special cousins, Charlotte Franklin (Joe) of Madison, NC, and Carolyn Mccullough (William) of Stoneville, NC; a host of other nieces; nephews; other relatives, and friends.

Public viewing for Mrs. Audrey Hamlin Broadnax will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 2 PM to 7PM in the Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC.

Funeral service for Mrs. Audrey Hamlin Broadnax will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023, 1:00 PM in the Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC.

Final Resting Place will be in the Eden Garden Cemetery, Eden, NC.
