Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Bedford Lee Slade 72, of 3739 Hodges Dairy Road, Yanceyville, North Carolina who passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at his residence.
He was the son of the late William O. Slade Sr. and Margaret Brown Slade, born May 15, 1949, in Caswell County, North Carolina.
He worked at Cone Mill, White Oak Plant for 39 years. Also, he was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bradford Lee Slade; sister, Lillie Mae Slade and brother, Willie Henry Slade.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Annie Graves Slade of the home; one son, Kelly Dewayne Slade, Sr. of Yanceyville; one sister; Wilma Kay Slade of Yanceyville, North Carolina; five brothers, Charles Slade, William O. Slade Jr., Raymond Slade (Judith), Larry Slade (Connie), Darnell Slade (Mary) all of Yanceyville, North Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Graves (Donna) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Joshua Graves (Mary) of Pelham, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Kelly Wayne Slade, Jr., Shandryana Holloway, Tatnya Hankins, Mahogany J. Slade and Ashantee Slade; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Monday, July 5, 2021 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bedford Lee Slade will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, 2:00 PM in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
