Bessie Turner Cobb

Reidsville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Bessie Turner Cobb of 198 Brintle Rd. Reidsville, NC, who passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 in the Caswell House of Yanceyville, NC.

She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late Vedie Turner, born November 14, 1930. She was a member of Brown's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.

She was married to George Cobb who preceded her in death, she was also preceded in death by three sons, Levander Cobb, Alvis Cobb and Donial Cobb; one brother Obiediah Turner.

Her survivors are one son, Dannie Cobb ( Penny ) of Yanceyville, NC; three daughters, Gwyland C. Harrelson ( Stephen ) of Reidsville, NC, Angela Graves ( Joe ) of Burlington, NC and Crystal Craddock of Reidsville, NC; daughter-in-law, Clara Frances Cobb of Reidsville, NC; 22 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be Monday, September 5, 2022 from 2 to 7 pm in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton- Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 12 Noon at Brown's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Dr. Frankie Jones will deliver the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
