Billy Watkins

South Boston, Virginia - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Billy Watkins  68,  of 621 Berry Hill Rd. South Boston, VA., who passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the  Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA.

He was a native of Danville, VA., the son of Mary Chandler Watkins Gunn and the late Roosevelt Watkins Sr., born July 4, 1954.

He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, Billy was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Watkins.

Billy's survivors are mother, Mary Chandler Watkins Gunn of Pelham, NC; one brother, Roosevelt Watkins Jr. of Martinsville, VA.; one sister, Dianna Jenkins of Atlanta, GA.; one aunt, Esther Gwynn of Pelham, NC; a host of cousins and friends.

A viewing  will be Saturday, May 6,  2023; from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Graveside Service for Mr. Billy Watkins will be Sunday, May 7, 2023; at 2:00 p.m. in the  Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, NC.
