Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Cecil Diane Bigelow Sellars 67, who passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in the Ashton Health and Rehabilitation Center in McLeansville, NC.

Mrs. Cecil Diane Bigelow Sellars was born on February 3,1954 in Caswell County, NC, to the late Tom Bigelow, Jr.  and Betty Mag Graves Bigelow. She confessed Christ at a young age and joined the Graves Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cecil Diane Bigelow Sellars was a 1972 graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School. She was employed as a LPN at Alamance County Hospital.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Cecil Diane Bigelow Sellars was preceded in death by her son, Wendell Scott Sellars; one brother; Eddie Bigelow, Jr. two sisters, Jalvia B. Vaughn and Annie B. Wiley.

Mrs. Cecil Diane Bigelow Sellars leaves to cherish her memories her beloved devoted husband, Felix Sellars of the home; one son, Fredrick Sellars (Dannaya) of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Latisha Sellars (Charles) of Greensboro, NC; five brothers, Bill Bigelow (Linda) of Green Level, NC; Tuggy Bigelow of Mebane, NC; Thaddeus Bigelow and Alvin Bigelow of Yanceyville, NC; Donny Bigelow of Elon, NC; two sisters, Sallie B. Watlington of Reidsville, NC; and Gloria Turner (Bob) of Yanceyville, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2 to 8 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cecil Diane Bigelow Sellars will be Saturday, June 26, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at the Graves Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Walker delivering the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  (Per CDC Guidelines Facial Mask are required).
