Charlie Gusttaver Carter

Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Charlie Gusttaver Carter of 329 E C Jones Rd. Milton, NC who passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his residence.

He was a native of Dry Fork, VA, the son of Sam William Carter and Fannie White Carter, born November 10, 1934. He  was an employee of Greensboro Concrete and Construction Company for many years before retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by one son, Jerome Carter.

His survivors are wife, Pauline Rosser Carter of the home; three sons, Wayne Rosser (Helen) of Blanch, NC, Earl Rosser of Milton, NC and Charlie Carter Jr. (Tamara) of Richmond, VA; three daughters, Ruby Anderson of Yanceyville, NC, Annette Chrisco (Houston) of Leasburg, NC and Rebecca Carter of Brown Summit, NC; three brothers, Tom L. Carter (Mary) of Tampa, FL, Bill Carter (Brenda) and Bobby Carter (Ann) both of Danville, VA; three sisters, Mary Alice Alston of New York, Alberta Robertson of South Carolina and Parthenia Coleman of Danville, VA; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
