Reidsville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Cheryl Diann Mims of 6028 US 29 Business, Reidsville, NC, who passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at her residence.

Cheryl was born November 22, 1956, in Rockingham County, NC to the late Julia Louise Mims and Moses Rice.

She attended Little Salem Christian Church in Reidsville, NC. Cheryl was employed by Miller Brewing, Eden, NC, and she served in the United States Army.

In addition to her mother, loved ones who preceded her in death are: one son, Thomas “Scooter” Dwayne Fulton; siblings, Barbara Mims, Floyd E. Mims, Jacqueline Mims, Brenda Perkins, Jessie Marie Mims, Katherine Watlington, Russell Mims, Rev. Walter Mims, Sr., James Mims, and Floyd Mims.

Ms. Cheryl Diann Mims leaves to cherish her memories: five brothers, David Mims, Sr. (Lillie) of Jacksonville, FL; Morris Kershaw of Reidsville, NC; Reginald Watlington of Greensboro, NC; James Dalton of Reidsville, NC; Elder Leroy Willis (Kathleen) of Fredericksburg, VA; two sisters, Fannie Simpson of Reidsville, NC; Renesha Eaves (Kenneth) of Eden, NC; brother-in-law, Charles McCollum of Reidsville, NC; sister-in-law, Korean Martin of Reidsville, NC; uncle, Albert Watlington, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; special nieces, Renee Watkins of Reidsville, NC; Tonya Kershaw of Gibsonville, NC; Heavenly Carroll (Howard) of Reidsville, NC; a special nephew, David Mims Jr. (Maribel) of Jacksonville, FL; and other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, March 29, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fulton-Walton Memorial Eden Chapel; 417 Price Street, Eden, NC.

Graveside service for Ms. Cheryl Diann Mims will be conducted Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Greenview Cemetery.
