Blanch, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Christine Saunders Perry of 4464 County Home Road, Blanch, NC, who passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late James Lindsey Vassal Saunders and Rosa Meeks Saunders, born January 11, 1940, in Blanch, NC. Mrs. Perry was a member of Covenant Reformed Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Lee Perry; son, Gregory Dean Parker, two brothers, John Henry Lewis Saunders, and Joseph Earl Saunders, and two sisters Rosetta McNeil and Sarah Lea McCloud.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Paul Reid Jr. of Maryland; six daughters, Tonya Parker-Yates (Keith) of Maryland, Karen Robinson of Burlington, NC, Deborah Parker of Durham, NC, Deidre Frayer (Lennard) of Maryland, Paula Sidney of Winston-Salem, NC and Danielle Reid of Mebane, NC; one brother, James Saunders of Durham, NC; twenty-three grandchildren, and twenty-one and counting great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mrs. Christine Perry will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM with Homegoing services to follow in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
