McLeansville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. DaShawn Michael Davis 27, of 5400 Silver Brook Drive, McLeansville, NC, who departed this life on Thursday, August 03, 2023, in Thomasville, NC; due to an auto accident.

DaShawn was born on December 21, 1995, in Danville, Virginia to Dwayne Davis and Cora Breedlove Davis.

He was a graduate of Ben L. Smith High School in Greensboro, NC; Class of 2014. DaShawn was gainfully employed at City Barbeque Restaurant in Greensboro, NC; where he enjoyed being a cook. Spiritually, DaShawn was a member of Evangel Fellowship Church in Greensboro, NC.

DaShawn was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Early Davis; and his brother; Dedrick Lee Wooding who followed him in death.

DaShawn leaves to cherish his memories to his parents; Mr. Dwayne Edward Davis and Cora Lisa Breedlove Davis of McLeansville, NC, two brothers; Darrius Wooding of Greensboro, NC and Justin Davis of Louisville, KY; maternal grandparents; Floyd Breedlove and Vera Robertson Breedlove of Danville, VA; Paternal Grandmother, Dorothy Ann Davis of Sutherlin, VA; a host of aunts; uncles; other relatives; and many cherished friends.

Public viewing for Mr. DaShawn Michael Davis will be Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 4PM to 6PM at Woodard Funeral Home Chapel 3200 North O’Henry Blvd. Greensboro, NC.

Funeral Service for Mr. DaShawn Michael Davis will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Power House of Deliverance Garden Cathedral; 1800 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, NC.
