Dale Marie Jones

Danville, VA. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of  Ms. Dale Marie Jones of 119 Bel Aire Dr. Danville, VA., who passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023.

She was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on October 20, 1961; to the late Richard Lee Jones and Cledys Vernel Leftwich Jones.

Dale was a homemaker and an employee at Lee Adult Home in Danville, Virginia.

She was a member of The Judah House of Worship in Danville, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Dale was preceded in death by her two sisters:  Andrea Carter, and Angela Jennings; her brother:  Alvin Jones; her two stepsisters:  Phyllis Law and Faye Wilson.

Ms. Dale Marie Jones leaves to cherish her memories to her two daughters: Pamela Carter and Tameka Thompson; her two sons: Derrick Jones and Bryan Whitehead; her four sisters Rhonda Walton, Denise Carter, Cynthia Sutzer, and Brenda Cousins; her brother: Ricky Jones; her five out of her twelve grandchildren whom she raised: Rozolynn and Trenton Thompson, Tieyon Torain, Gavin Clark, and Akarii Wilson; and her four great-grandchildren; six stepsisters: Barbara Myers, Linda Bumer, Julia Herrin, Sylvia Adams, Teresa Kaye Davis, and Betty Johnson; and a host of nieces; nephews; other loving relatives; and many cherished friends.

A viewing for Ms. Dale Marie Jones will be Sunday, March 05, 2023; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Judah House of Worship in Danville, Virginia.

Funeral Services for Ms. Dale Marie Jones will be Monday, March 06, 2023; at 12:00 noon at The Judah House of Worship, 3280 Mt. Cross Rd. in Danville, VA 24540.

Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park Cemetery,1432 N Main Street (Piney Forest Road), Danville, Virginia 24540.
