Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Darlene Totten Clark of 3815 Hodges Dairy Rd. Yanceyville, NC, who passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her residence.
She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late Sidney Totten and Ollie Mae King Totten, born March 20, 1945. She was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member of the senior choir and served on the kitchen committee.
Darlene was employee by Blackwell Rest Home before retirement and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Totten, Willie Totten and Joe Totten; three sisters, Gladys England, Marie Holloway and Christine King.
Her survivors are husband, James Alvin Clark of the home; one son, Samuel Holloway Jr. of Reidsville, NC; two daughter, Charlene Watlington ( John ) of Providence, NC and Vickie Holloway of Yanceyville, NC; one sister, Yvonne Holloway of Pelham, NC; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters- in law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mrs. Darlene Totten Clark will be Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2 to 7 pm in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Mrs. Darlene Totten Clark will be Monday, September 12, 2022 2:00 pm at Red Hill Baptist Church. Pastor Gregory Hopkins will deliver the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
