Reidsville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Darrence  Darrell Watlington 37, of Reidsville., who passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 in the Sovah Health in Danville, VA.

He was the son of Barney Williams and Shirly Watlington Stokes, born June 2, 1984 in Orange County, NC.

He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ellen W. Turner and Sammy P. Hunt Jr.; paternal grandfather, Ernest Williams Sr.

His survivors are mother, Shirly Watlington Stokes ( Tony ) of Reidsville, NC; father, Barney Williams of Ruffin, NC; three brothers, Thorne Watlington and Travis Fitzgerald both of Reidsville, NC and Christopher Williams of Burlington, NC; two sister, Day Brianna Watlington of Miami, Florida and Ja'Monica Williams of Greensboro, NC; grandmother, Effie M. Williams of Yanceyville, NC; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, May 20, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Darrence Darrell Watlington will be Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
