Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Deacon Leroy Anthony Brandon of 3438 NC Hwy 57 N. Milton, NC, who passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his residence.
He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of the late James Brandon and Mary Eva Jeffreys Brandon, born April 17, 1949. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, where he was chairman of the deacon board, and he was a member of the Male Chorus.
Leroy was a graduate of the Caswell County High School class of 1967 and was an employee of Burlington Industries before retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Claira Brandon; three brothers, Paul Jeffreys, Allen Jefferys and James Franklin " Bro " Brandon.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Wife, Rosa Mae Wilson Brandon of the home; one son, Anthony Lamont Brandon of the home; one daughter, Erika Brandon Nunnally of Pelham, NC; three sisters, Marie Barksdale of Alton, VA., Mattie Anderson of Monticello New York, and Joyce Brandon Gunter (Rev. George) of Reidsville, NC; three grandchildren, Taylor Nunnally, Brandon Nunnally and Ashton Brandon; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Friday, November 24, 2023; from 4 pm to 7 pm with family visitation from 6 pm to 7 pm in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Deacon Leroy Anthony Brandon will be Saturday November 25, 2023; 12 Noon at New Haven Baptist Church. Pastor David Barnett will deliver the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery Milton, NC.
