Deacon Willie Davis Walker

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Deacon Willie Davis Walker of 1525 Main Street, Apt. 118, Yanceyville, North Carolina, who died Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Cone Health Annie Penn Hospital, Reidsville, North Carolina.

Deacon Willie Davis Walker was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina born on May 13, 1934 to the late Coy Walker and Luzanne Spencer Walker. 

Deacon Willie Davis Walker was a member of Providence Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Trustee and sang in the Choir.  He worked as a farmer until he retired.

In addition to his parents, Deacon Willie Davis Walker was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Walker and Larry Walker.

Deacon Willie Davis Walker leaves to cherish his beloved memories to his: four sisters, Geneva Graves (Billie) of Burlington, North Carolina, Dora Moore of Burlington, North Carolina, Corena Brandon (Odell) of McCleansville, North Carolina and Minister Earlene Blackwell (Joe) of Gibsonville, North Carolina; three brothers, Russell Walker of Graham, North Carolina, Sterling Walker (Shirley) of Burlington, North Carolina and Waddell Walker of Brown Summit, North Carolina; special sister-in-law, Dorthen Walker of Gibsonville, NC; close friends, Pastor Paul and Mrs. Alice Robinson of Yanceyville, North Carolina and Paul Dillard of Yanceyville, North Carolina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.   (Per CDC Guidelines:  Facial Masks are required).

Funeral Services for Deacon Willie Davis Walker will be Friday, September 18, 2020, 12 NOON in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home .

 Pastor Reginald Coleman will deliver the words of comfort. ( Funeral service will be livestreamed).

Interment will follow at the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Yanceyville, North Carolina.
