McLeansville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Dedrick Lee Wooding 36, of 5400 Silver Brook Drive, McLeansville, NC, who departed this life on Friday, August 04, 2023, in Greensboro, NC.

Dedrick was born November 27, 1987, in Danville, Virginia, to Frank Wooding, and Cora Lisa Breedlove Davis.

After attending Guilford County public schools Dedrick later received his diploma from Job Corp in Kentucky. He was a employed at NFI Industries in Greensboro, NC; as a forklift driver. Spiritually, Dedrick was of the Holiness’ faith.

Dedrick was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Willie Wooding; and one brother; DaShawn Michael Davis.

Dedrick leaves to cherish his memories to his parents; mother; Cora Lisa Breedlove Davis (Dwayne) of McLeansville, father; Frank Wooding (Gloria) of Martinsville, VA; one son; Dallas Lemuel Wooding of Jamestown, NC; two brothers; Darrius Wooding of Greensboro, NC and Justin Davis of Louisville, KY; maternal grandparents; Floyd Breedlove and Vera Robertson Breedlove of Danville, VA; paternal grandmother; Ernestine Adams Wooding of Dry Fork, VA.; a host of aunts; uncles; other relatives; and many cherished friends.

Public viewing for Mr. Dedrick Lee Wooding will be Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 4PM to 6PM at Woodard Funeral Home Chapel 3200 North O’Henry Blvd. Greensboro, NC.

Funeral Service for Mr. Dedrick Lee Wooding will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Power House of Deliverance Garden Cathedral 1800 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, NC.
