Dennis Wayne Graves

Raleigh, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Dennis Wayne Graves of 1420 Carnage Drive Raleigh, NC who passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his residence.

He was born April 02, 1956 in Caswell County, NC and was the son of  the late James Rufus Graves and Mabel Josephine Bigelow Graves Trapp.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Janice Richmond; two grandmothers, Lula McCain and Virgie Plummer.

Mr. Dennis Wayne Graves leaves to cherish precious memories to a devoted, loving fiancee, Michelle Barbour of Raleigh, NC; one son, Kevin Phifer (Darlene) of Rocky Mount, VA; two sisters, Jennifer Miller (Donald), and  Valerie Lynn Washington both of Greensboro, NC; one brother, James Ronald Graves of Greensboro, NC; aunts, Gloria Amos ( Jennings) of Greensboro, NC; Sherril Barrett  of Blanch, NC, Coye Stewart of Milton, NC,  Ponzelle Mebane of  Burlington, NC, Virginia Jeffries (Collin) of Graham, NC, Phyllis Poteat( Larry) of Blanch, NC; step-father Minister Donald Lee Trapp; an uncle, Bobby Richmond; one nephew, Keith McEachirn, II; two great- nieces Nevaeh McEachirn and Kennadee McEachirn, one great-nephew, Omari McEachirn; host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, April 16,2021 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.

(Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).

Funeral Services for Mr. Dennis Wayne Graves will be Saturday, April 17, 2021, 2:00 PM at the High Rock Baptist Church, Blanch NC. with visitation from 1:30 to 2:00 pm before funeral service.  Pastor Henry Long to deliver the words of comfort. 

Family and friends are also welcome to sit in the Church parking lot to listen to funeral service on 89.9 FM Radio.

Interment will follow in the High Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Blanch, NC.  (Per CDC Guidelines Facial Mask are required).
