Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Donald Ray Henderson, Jr. 45, of 2037 Yarborough Mill Rd. Milton, NC, who passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the SOVAH Health Danville, VA.

Mr. Donald Ray Henderson, Jr. was born in Chapel Hill, NC on October 2, 1975 to Donald Ray Henderson, Sr., and Evelyn Vanessa Jeffries Graves. He was a member of Macedonia AME Church in Milton, NC and the Jones Hunting Club in Pelham, NC.

In addition to his grandparents, Americus Henderson, Margaret Henderson, Henry “Buster” Jeffries, Ida B. Graves, Billy Graves, Sr. and Lovelene Winstead; he was preceded in death by his sister, Tara Robertson; aunt, Marie Turner; uncles, Roy Henderson, Sr Terry Wayne Graves, Sr. and two deceased first cousins, Michael Motley, Jr. and “Peanut” Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Latoya Stewart of the residence; his parents, Donald Ray Henderson, Sr., of Yanceyville, NC  and Evelyn Vanessa Jeffries Graves (Billy) of Danville, VA; three sons, Darian Watlington of Burlington, NC  Joshua and Justin Stewart of the residence ; two daughters, Janessa Stewart of Milton, NC and Ladystany Crawley of Roxboro, NC; two brothers, Nick Henderson of Yanceyville, NC and Christopher Harrington of Danville, VA; two sisters, Billie Jean Gregory (LaMario) of Danville, VA and Tiffany Henderson of Graham, NC; maternal grand-mother, Dorothy Jeffries of Milton, NC; father-in-law, Clarence Stewart; mother-in-law, Janet Stewart; sister-in-law, Tonia Stewart (Glen); aunts, Connie Jeffries, Jackie Jeffries, Terri Jeffries, Lolita Howard, Carol Henderson Theresa Henderson, Patricia Henderson, Nadine Henderson, Dallas Horsham (Desmond) and Lucy Mae Clark (dean); uncles, Ray Jeffries (Florine) Jimmie Jeffries, Reginald Jeffries, Robert Henderson (Melody) Wayne Henderson (Constance) James Henderson (Hazel) Mel Henderson (Denise) and Arnold Henderson (Darlene); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, April 30, 2021, from 2 to 7 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.

Funeral Services for Mr. Donald Ray Henderson, Jr. will be Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 1:00 PM in the parking lot of Macedonia AME Church, Milton, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  (Per CDC Guidelines:  Facial Masks are required).
