Milton, NC- It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Doreen Stewart 60, of 175 Collie Rd Milton, NC who passed away Sunday June 25, 2023, in Yanceyville, NC.

Doreen was born August 19, 1962, in Baltimore, Maryland to Bunnice Stewart Sr.  and Annie Bell Stewart.

She was of the Baptist Faith and a Homemaker.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome Stewart, and Bunnice Stewart Jr.

Doreen leaves to cherish her memory her parents Bunnice Stewart Sr. and Annie Bell Stewart of Baltimore, Maryland ; one son Diaquan King: two daughters, De’yanni King, and Daneen Kimber, three brothers: Wendell Stewart of Baltimore, Maryland, Lawrence Stewart of Baltimore, Maryland, Charlie Hamlett of Semora, NC, one sister: Darlene Wilson (Kenny) of Baltimore, Maryland four aunts: Marie Farmer of Baltimore, Maryland, Ernestine Barnette (Charlie), Laura Mccain, Gladys Lipscomb (Miller) of Milton, NC 0ne uncle: Clarence Stewart (Nett) two grandchildren: nieces; nephew; and other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be Friday, July 7, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Service for Ms. Doreen Stewart will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, 1:00 PM with family arriving 12:30 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hwy. 119 Semora, NC. Pastor P.D. Medley will deliver the words of comfort.
