Drew Evelyn Tardy

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Drew Evelyn Tardy 66, of 254 Wall St. Yanceyville, NC, who passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at her residence.

Drew Evelyn Tardy was one of ten children born to the Late Marie Totten Holloway and Lindsay Holloway on June 13, 1956, in Caswell County, NC.

Drew loved going to church and listening to gospel music. In 2001 she became self-employed and open her very own restaurant named Evelyn’s Take Out in Yanceyville, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Hazel Totten Apple and four brother Michael Holloway, Robert Totten, William Totten and Larry Eugene Totten. 

Mrs. Drew Evelyn Tardy leaves to cherish her memories her husband Albert Tardy of the home; her son Bryan Holloway; three sisters Dorothy Heitt (Stafford), Barbara Holloway (Wilbert), and Doris Henderson (Melvin); one brothers Leon Holloway; grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and friends.

A viewing for Mrs. Drew Evelyn Tardy will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023; from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Drew Evelyn Tardy will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023; at 1:00 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Yanceyville Municipal Cemetery.

Repast will follow interment in the Fulton-Walton Fellowship Center.
