Edward Tanner

Reidsville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Edward Tanner, age 63 of 701 Lindsey St. Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away Thursday, January 07, 2021 in the Hospice of Rockingham, Wentworth, North Carolina.

Edward was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina and he was the son of the late William Henry Tanner, and Elizabeth Holloway Tanner, on born September 28, 1957.

Edward was educated in the public county school system and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to Edward’s parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Thomas Tanner and James Robert Tanner; four sisters, Josephine Simpson, Joyce McDaniel, Naomi Tanner, and Ethel T. Pearson.

Mr. Edward Tanner leaves to cherish his memories to his:  one son, Edward C. Chapman of Greensboro, North Carolina, one daughter, April Tanner of Yanceyville, North Carolina; one brother, John Tanner of Greensboro, North Carolina; one sister, Dorothy Galloway of Pelham, North Carolina; two grandchildren; one uncle, Otis Holloway of Pelham, North Carolina; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Edward Tanner will be Friday, January 15, 2021 1:00 pm at Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

(Per CDC Guidelines:  Facial Masks are required).

*Attendance at the Memorial Service will be limited to fifty (50) individuals and attendees will be pre-determined by the family*.
