Danville, VA - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Elvis Wilbert Redd of 22 Baltimore Ave., Danville, VA, who passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his residence.
He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of the late Wilbert Neal and Marion Beard Redd, born April 14, 1957.
Elvis was a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church and was an employee of Dan River Mills before retirement.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, William A. Redd, Bruce K. Redd and Eric V. Redd.
His survivors are one son, Josh Adams of Danville, VA; one brother, Barry Redd of Danville, VA; two sisters, Sandra Saunders of Danville, VA and Joyce Ingram of Bryans, MD; nieces; nephews; two special cousins, Tyrone Hall and Sterling Diggs; special friend, Ronnie K. Turner; other relatives and friends.
*Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. Please remember to follow CDC guidelines with everyone wearing protective gloves and masks. * Masks are required to enter the building.
Graveside Service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2020 1:00 pm at Smith Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
