Franchon Yvette Pointer

Yanceyville, NC –  It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of

 Ms. Franchon Yvette Pointer 34, of 1369 Meadowview Apartments 1-D, Yanceyville, NC who died Monday, July 13, 2020 at SOVAH Health in Danville, VA.

She was the daughter of George Michael Coleman and Mary Magelene Pointer Coleman born May 25, 1986 in Halifax, VA.  She was employed as a Customer Service Manager for Food Lion in Yanceyville, NC.   She was a member of True Holiness Church of Danville, VA.

Her survivors are father, George Michael Coleman; mother, Mary Magelene Coleman of Yanceyville, NC;  paternal grandmother, Semond Daisy Coleman of Milton, NC; maternal grandmother, Clara Tucker Pointer of Ringgold, VA;   two sisters, Clara Renee Coleman of Danville, VA and Daisy Mary Resha Coleman of Yanceyville, NC; two nieces, Airyanna Davis and Alayia Coleman; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Sanctuary at Providence Baptist Church  165 Wilbur Webster Rd. Yanceyville, NC with 10 people at a time.  Please remember to follow CDC guidelines with everyone wearing protective gloves and masks.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 20, 2020, 12:00 noon at True Holiness Church, Danville, VA.  Interment will be in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Attendance at the funeral will be limited to fifty (50) individuals and attendees will be pre-determined by the family.
