Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Geneva Williamson Jeffreys, 98, of 11329 Hwy 62N, Milton, North Carolina, who died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Geneva Williamson Jeffreys was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina born on January 17, 1922 to the late Floyd Williamson and Ressie Thomas Williamson.
Mrs. Geneva Williamson Jeffreys was a homemaker. She was a member of High Street Baptist Church where she served as an usher and was in the Missionary Circle.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Geneva Williamson Jeffreys was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Marshall Jeffreys Sr.; one son, Curtis Jeffreys; five sisters, Inethia Williamson, Nannie Booth, Grathlenea Williamson, Mary Williamson and Catherine Williamson; seven brothers, Ralph Floyd, Ezekiel, Lucious, Sherman, Isaac and Roman Williamson.
Mrs. Geneva Williamson Jeffreys leaves to cherish her beloved memories to her: Three daughters, Lillie Clanton, Katie Stone and Sophie Robinson (Woodrow) all of Milton, North Carolina; two sons, Marshall Jeffreys Jr. (Doris) Milton, North Carolina and Floyd Jeffreys of Danville, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Hattie L. Jeffreys of Milton, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).
Graveside Services for Mrs. Geneva Williamson Jeffreys will be Monday, August 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Floral Hill Memorial Gardens, 1665 South Boston Road, Danville, Virginia. Pastor Angel Lea will deliver the words of comfort.
