George Douglas Elliott

Gibsonville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. George Douglas Elliott of 202 Cypress Ct. Gibsonville, NC, who passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at his residence.

George was a native of Halifax, Virginia born February 05,1944 to both the late George Elmer Elliott and Lucy Ann Barksdale Elliott. He was a member of River Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Leasburg Lodge 648.

He was a farmer who loved the great outdoors.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Elliott; two brothers, Lee Andrew Elliott and Earl Elliott.

Mr. George Douglas Elliott’s survivors are wife, Belinda Noble Elliott; two daughters, Tangela E. Mitchell (Eric) of Gibsonville, North Carolina; and Felicia Elliott of Greensboro, North Carolina; two sisters, Hattie Pinchback of Danville, Virginia and Gaynell Saunders of Milton, North Carolina; one brother, Carnell Elliott (Gaynell) of Milton, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Breanna Elliott and Qiara Mitchell; one great-grandchild, Sofia Damaso; sister-in-law, Mae Elliott of Milton, North Carolina; other relatives and friends.
