Danville, VA. - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Janie Willis Allen 68, of 115 Palm St. Danville, Va., who passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at her residence.
Janie was the daughter of the late Cornell Willis Sr. and Dorothy Blackwell Willis, born January 9, 1955, in Rockingham County, NC. She was of the Baptist faith and was a LPN in several Richmond, VA., hospitals before retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Willis and Denise Breedlove.
Janie leaves to cherish her memories, four brothers, Cornell Willis Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Ray Anthony Willis of Danville, VA., Brian Keith Willis of Richmond, VA., and Antonia Willis (Glorinda) of Danville, VA., nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.
Public viewing for Ms. Janie Willis Allen will be Friday, December 29, 2023; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Family visitation for Ms. Janie Willis Allen will be Saturday, December 30, 2023; from 1:30 pm. to 2:00 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Ms. Janie Willis Allen will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Final resting Place will be in the Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
