Semora, NC – It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Johnnie Wesley Farmer of 3138 Jack Pointer Rd. Semora, NC, who passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his residence.
He was a native of Caswell County, NC, the son of the late Morris Farmer and Chestina Hamlett Farmer, born December 11, 1944. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was a custodian for Bartlett Services before retirement.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen Farmer, Owendale Farmer and Otis Garland; one sister, Alma Lea.
His survivors are one daughter, Erica Clay of Semora, NC; one brother, Willie Farmer of the home; three sisters, Nannie Farmer of Roxboro, NC, Mildred Johnson and Kathleen Stewart both of the home; one granddaughter, Brittany Clay; two devoted nieces, Glynis Woods (Derick) of Julian, NC and Gladys Stewart (Onassis) of Milton, NC; other nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 2 to 8 PM from the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton- Walton Funeral Home with a limited of 10 people at a time.
