Joshua Graves

Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announced the death of Mr. Joshua Graves, age 83, of 390 Jeffries Rd. Pelham, NC, who passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at SOVAH Health in Danville, VA.

Joshua was the son of the late Albert Graves and Mary Eva Stokes Graves, born January 26, 1939; in Caswell County, NC.

Joshua attended the Caswell County Public School System.

Joshua was an employee at Fieldcrest Mill in Eden, NC prior to his retirement.

Joshua was a member of Mineral Springs Missionary Baptist Church but would also attend Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church along with his wife.

In addition to his parents, Joshua was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Pearl "Madie" Graves Simpson; three brothers, Howard, Lenzy, and Robert “Mitchell” Graves.

Mr. Joshua Graves leaves to cherish his memories to his beloved wife, Mary Henderson Graves of the home; one daughter, Angela Graves of Pelham, NC; one sister, Annie G. Slade of Yanceyville, NC; one brother, Ted Graves (Donna) of Greensboro, NC; one aunt; Lossie Pearl Lea of Ruffin, NC; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Mitchell, Debra Paylor, Sharon Graves, all of Pelham, NC, and Odella Graves of Yanceyville, NC; three brothers-in-law, Lewis Henderson (Ocie), Charles Henderson (Mary Alice), and Michael Henderson (Angela) all of Pelham, NC; two best buddies, Joe Page and Joe Bushnell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, many cherished friends; and his canine companion, Wrenn.

The family will be receiving guest at his sister-in-law's residence (Debra Paylor): 61 Germantown Road, Pelham, NC 27311

A viewing for Mr. Joshua Graves will be Monday, December 26, 2022; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral.

Funeral Services for Mr. Joshua Graves will be Tuesday, December 27, 2022; at 1:00pm at Red Hill Baptist Church in Pelham, NC.
