Kathylene Farmer Stewart

Semora, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Kathylene Farmer Stewart 70, of 3138 Jack Pointer Rd. Semora, North Carolina, who passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her residence.

Kathylene was the daughter of the late Morris Farmer and Ada Garland Farmer, born July 15, 1951 in Person County, North Carolina. 

Kathylene received her education in the Caswell County public school system. She was a homemaker and was employed as a cook prior to retirement. Kathylene was always willing to lend a helping hand; especially when it came to babysitting.

Kathylene joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Semora, North Carolina at an early age; where she attended until declining health.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Carnell Garland, Otis Garland, Alan Farmer, Owen Dale Farmer, and Johnnie Farmer; one sister, Alma Lea.

Kathylene Farmer Stewart leaves to cherish her memories to two sisters, Mildred Johnson of the home and Nannie Farmer of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother, Willie Farmer of the home; three devoted nieces, Gladys Stewart (Onassis) of Milton, North Carolina; Glynis Woods (Derrick) of Julian, North Carolina, and Mary Tina Johnson of Milton, North Carolina; one special nephew, Otis Farmer of Milton, North Carolina; two devoted sisters-in-law, Mable McCain (Theodore) and Annie McCain (Bobby); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 2 p.m to 7 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Ms. Kathylene Farmer Stewart will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021  1:00 PM at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Semora, NC.  Interment will follow in the Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
