Linda Maxine Long Robinson was born to Roosevelt and Margaret Long in Caswell County of North Carolina on January 1,1957. She was raised by her grandparents John Henry and Annie Mitchell Long along with her Aunt Sis until she moved to New York with her parents at the age of 11.
Linda graduated from John Adams High School in Queens, NY. She was a fun and loving person who loved to celebrate her birthday and have a good time! Linda also was known for her contagious laugh and infectious smile, which could be spotted a mile away. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her very own. Linda was also a member of the Elks Lodge.
On September 4, 2005, Linda married the love of her life Herbert Robinson. They moved from Queens, NY to High Point, NC in August of 2017. Linda departed this life on April 19, 2020 at the High Point Regional Medical Center, in High Point, NC.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Margaret Long.
Linda Maxine Long Robinson leaves to cherish her memories to her loving husband Herbert Robinson of the home; her step-son Damian Moody of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters, Ann Cunningham (George) of Jamestown, NC and Natalie Moore of High Point, NC; one brother, Roosevelt Long, Jr. of High Point, NC; a god daughter, Kristina Belton-Henley of Queens, NY; two uncles, Joseph Long (Mattie) and Marvin Willis (Ophelia) all of Blanch, NC; five aunts, Nina Haywood, Dorothy Blackwell Willis both of Danville, VA, Hallie Willis of Newport News, VA, Ella Crutchfield (Joe) of Semora, NC, and Naomi Long of Blanch, NC; her mother in law, Gladys Robinson of Emporia, VA; two brother in laws, James Robinson of Emporia, VA, and Glenn Robinson (Freida) of San Antonio, TX; two sister in laws, Loretta Allen of Emporia, VA, and Betty Smith (Noble) of Richmond, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, as well as her extended family and many cherished friends.
