Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Littleton Pyles , 70, of 404 Hudson Road, Milton, North Carolina, who died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Littleton Pyles was a native of Person County, North Carolina born on November 24, 1949 to the late Jessie Pyles and Dorothy Long Pyles.
Littleton was a member of High Street Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee and sung in the male chorus. He was employed with Columbia Forest Products, Inc. in Chatham, Virginia before retirement.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Littleton Pyles was preceded in death by one sister, Doris “Squeaky” Pyles Womack; and one brother, John Pyles.
Mr. Littleton Pyles leaves to cherish his beloved memories to his: wife, Eva Harris Pyles of the home; four daughters, Jessica Brown (Kevin), Tanya Logan, and Tedra Noell (Stuart) all of Milton, NC, Linda Slade (Oliver) of Reidsville, North Carolina; one son, Brian Pyles (Tara) of Timberlake, North Carolina; six sisters, Margaret Wherry and Janie (Ervin) Pyles Farmer of Danville, Virginia, Judy Miller of Greensboro, North Carolina, Louise Pyles of Danville, Virginia, Geneva (Harold) Scott of Milton, North Carolina and Darlene (Rev. Rhon) Hammond of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; adopted son, Gary Williams of Milton, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six aunts, Gracie Harris of Blanch, North Carolina, Jeraline Manning of San Diego, California, Lillian Allen (Ray) of Brooklyn, New York, Sarah Long of Milton, NC, Lorene Long of Burlington, NC and Deloris Evans.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of
Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).
Funeral Services for Mr. Littleton Pyles will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, 2:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memory Garden, Danville, Virginia.
*Attendance at the funeral will be limited to fifty (50) individuals and attendees will be pre-determined by the family*.
