Lorenza Graves

Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Lorenza Graves of 2089 Yarborough Mills Rd. Milton, NC, who passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at his residence.

He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of the late Georgianna Graves Newkirk,  born September 28, 1951. He joined Macedonia AME Church at an early age and he was an employee of Burlington Industries Williamsburg Plant before retirement.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Newkirk; two sisters, Lakara Newkirk and Virginia Graves Coleman.

His survivors are wife, Mary Lois Williams Graves of the home; three daughters, Katina Smith ( Brandon ) of Reidsville, NC, Keyana Claiborne ( Mark ) and Katamara Graves both of Danville, Va.; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, John Newkirk ( Stella ) and Cletis Newkirk all of Plainfield, NJ;  one sister, Sally Allen of  Bellevue Nebraska; one aunt, Ardenia Graves of Milton, NC; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
