Danville, VA - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Margaret Smith of 321 Leeland Rd. Danville, VA., who passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Prosper Robertson and Elnora Beard Smith, born August 12, 1951. She was a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church, and she was a graduate of class of 1969 of Caswell County High School in Yanceyville, NC.
She was an employee of Wal-Mart in Danville, VA., before retirement.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Smith and Garry Robinson; four sisters, Shirley Hall, Brenda Ingram, Jean Coles, and Dorothy Adams.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Darrell Smith and Devin Smith both of Ruffin, NC; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Ms. Margaret Smith will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Ms. Margaret Smith will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, 2:00 PM in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Smith Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, NC.
