Obituary
Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Marie Foster McLaughlin of 5405 Allison Rd. Pelham, NC, who passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the Annie Penn Memorial Hospital ( Cone Health ) Reidsville, NC.
She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late Otis Foster Sr. and Bettie Russell Foster, born June 15, 1934. Marie was a member of Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church, where she was mother of the church, missionary and a deaconess. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newglen Charlie McLaughlin; daughter, Angela Allen; sisters, Earline Foster Mitchell and Evelyn Foster; and brother, James Foster.
Her survivors are son, Charles Gordon McLaughlin ( Missy ) of Greensboro, NC; three daughters, Anita Jant ( Adolphus ) of Clarksville, VA., Catherine Barnes ( Robert ) and Valerie Pinnix ( Timothy ) all of Reidsville, NC; four brothers, Otis Foster Jr. ( Iris ) of Burlington, NC, Donald Foster ( Evelyn ) , Leslie Foster all of Pelham, NC and Larry Foster ( Carolyn ) of Yanceyville, NC; two sisters, Lillie Yancey of Pelham, NC and Mollie Turner of Reidsville, NC; two bonus sons, Tommy Totten and Waddell Graves; special niece and caregiver, Treva Foster; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2 to 7 pm in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2022 12:30 to 1:00 PM at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church before funeral service.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Marie Foster McLaughlin will be Monday, May 16, 2022 1:00 PM at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
( Facial Mask Required for all services).
Family are receiving friends on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2 to 5 PM at her residence.
