Mary Lee Jeffries

Ringgold, VA - . It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Mary Jeffries  69, of 2119 Ringgold Depot Rd. Ringgold, VA, who passed away Wednesday August 17, 2022 at her residence.

Mary was a native of Caswell County, NC, the daughter of the late Melvin Lewis Jeffries, Sr. and Mary Woods Jeffries of Blanch, NC, born September 30, 1952.  She joined and became a member of Hamer Missionary Baptist Church in Blanch, NC.  Prior to retirement, she was a Home Health Caregiver with Commonwealth HealthCare, Danville, VA.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Lewis Jeffries, Sr. and three brothers; Melvin L. Jeffries, Jr., Calvin W. Jeffries, and Larry L. Jeffries.

Ms. Mary Lee Jeffries leaves to cherish her memories to, her mother, Mary Woods Jeffries of Blanch, NC; one daughter; Chemeka Jeffries of Ringgold, VA; one son, Tibrius Jeffries of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Dorothy Jeffries, of Danville, VA; a special sister, Linda Brandon of Durham, NC; two brothers, Marvin (Sherry) Jeffries of Danville, VA and Anthony Jeffries of Blanch, NC; a special brother, Harry (Juanita) Hankins of Burlington, NC; four grandchildren, Joe-quinn Jeffries, Jalisa Jeffries, Alisha Jeffries, and Aaliyah Jeffries, all of Greensboro, NC; one sister-in-law, Barbara Jeffries of Yanceyville, NC; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

A viewing for Ms. Mary Lee Jeffries will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Ms. Mary Lee Jeffries will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hamer Missionary Baptist Church, 4425 Highway 62 N, Blanch, NC.

Interment will follow at Hamer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 4424 Highway 62 N, Blanch, NC.
