Mary Walker Taylor

Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announced the death of Mrs. Mary Caroline Walker Taylor; age 59, of 5023 Allison Rd. Pelham, NC, who passed Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the UNC Hospice in Pittsboro, NC.

Mrs. Mary Caroline Walker Taylor was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina; born on November 23, 1963; to the late Allen W. Walker and Mary Estelle Stephens Walker.

She graduated in 1983 from Bartlett Yancey High School; in Yanceyville, North Carolina. Mary was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Providence, North Carolina. She also was a machine operator at Copeland Mills in Burlington, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her papa/second dad: Artis C. Walker and her two brothers:  Allen “Red” Walker, and Samuel “Bo” Walker.

Mrs. Mary Caroline Walker Taylor leaves to cherish her beautiful memories to her husband:  James Albert Taylor of  the home; her two step-daughters:  Mary Taylor Woods, and Tomika Taylor Hatchett both of Burlington, NC; her step-son:  Keytae Taylor of Texas; her sister:  Virginia Walker Graves of Blanch, NC; her three brothers:  Jerry Walker (Annie) of Brown Summit, NC, Larry Walker (Dora), and Berkley Walker all of Pelham, NC; her two aunts:  Nannie Gordon of Baltimore, MD, and Lillie Gwynn of Greensboro, NC; her uncle:  Palmer Stephens of Glen Oak MD; her six grandchildren; her two sisters-in-law:  Annette Bigelow (Timothy) of Yanceyville, NC, and Linda Gattis of Burlington, NC; her brother-in-law:  Dana Taylor of Burlington, NC; her other relatives, and many friends.

A viewing for Mrs.  Mary Caroline Walker Taylor will be Saturday, March 04, 2023; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs.  Mary Caroline Walker Taylor will be Sunday, March 05, 2023; from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs.  Mary Caroline Walker Taylor will be Sunday, March 05, 2023; at 1:00pm in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Shady Grove Missionary Church Cemetery in Providence, NC.
