Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announced the death of Ms. Mary Wallace Yancey of 119 Shepard Dr. Milton, NC, who passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at her residence.
Ms. Mary was born in Caswell County, North Carolina on August 16, 1933, to the late Alexander Yancey and Sallie Cobb Yancey.
Ms. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, in Pelham, NC.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wallace Yancey, her two sisters, Lillian, and Virginia Yancey, her seven brothers, Odie, James, Robert, Dorus, Felix, Preston, and Houston Yancey.
Ms. Mary Wallace Yancey left behind to cherish her memories to her two sons, Wayne Yancey (Sherry) of Ringgold, VA, and Bryant Yancey (Renee Davis) of Milton, NC; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Melissa Lynn Stephens of Blanch, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.

A viewing for Ms. Mary Wallace Yancey will be Monday, May 02, 2022; from 2p.m. to 7p.m. in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Ms. Mary Wallace Yancey will be Tuesday, May 03, 2022; at 2:00 p.m. at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, in Pelham, NC. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
