Michael Slade

Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Michael Slade 53, of 128 Loy Dr. Pelham, NC, who passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his residence.

Michael was born in New Jersey to the late Tom Thomas and Lillie Mae Slade on August 28, 1969.

Michael attended Eastside High School in Patterson, NJ and then continued to work at SAPA for 20 years. He loved music and cars. He took pride in making sure that his cars were kept clean. He gave everybody that he knew a nickname. The conversations and laughs will be missed along with his smile.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories four sons Dequez Wright of Burlington, NC, Shawn Slade of Yanceyville, NC, Michael Slade of Yanceyville, NC and Donte Slade of Yanceyville, NC; his brother Timothy Slade of Patterson, NJ; his Godmother Wilma “Kay” Slade of Yanceyville, NC; six grandchildren;  uncles; aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Viewing for Mr. Michael Slade will be Saturday, May 13, 2023; from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Slade will be Sunday, May 14, 2023; at 2:00 in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
