Minnie Gunter Stokes

Maryland- It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Minnie Gunter Stokes formerly of Pelham, NC, who passed away on Saturday, November18, 2023.

Minnie was born December 12,1944 to the late Tommy Gunter Sr. and Louise Barksdale Gunter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Margaret Gunter Nunally, and Ruth Gunter Gwynn, 2 brothers; Tommy Gunter Jr., and John Gunter.

Her survivors are three sisters, Dorothy Gunter Sams of Tampa, FL, Lottie Gunter Williamson of Pelham, NC, and Mary Gunter Weathers (Walter) of Durham, NC; two brothers, Voyd Gunter (Rosetta) of Eden, NC and Rev. George Gunter (Joyce) of Reidsville, NC; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

 A viewing for Ms. Minnie Gunter Stokes will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023; 9:00 am to 12noon at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home 8401 Bladensburg Rd. Brentwood, MD

A Celebration of Life service for Ms. Minnie Gunter Stokes will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023; 12noon at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home 8401 Bladensburg Rd. Brentwood, MD
