Miss. Tisha Millner

Eden, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Miss. Tisha Millner age 43, of Eden, North Carolina.  She passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Tisha, daughter of Samuel and Lauritz Reid Millner, was born on April 14, 1981, in Rockingham County, North Carolina. She graduated from Morehead High School and earned a Business Administration degree from ECPI in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Shortly afterwards, Tisha began her career at Duke Power in Greensboro, North Carolina as a Call Center Representative and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a local health care agency in Eden, North Carolina.

Tisha was a member of New St. Paul Baptist Church in Eden, North Carolina, serving in community outreach programs. She also participated in the Kid’s Suicide Hotline. She cherished time with her children and family.

Miss Tisha Millner is survived by her children MaTyah and Monterrian Mitchell, her forever love Montie Mitchell, her parents Samuel and Lauritz Reid Millner, her two first cousins raised as sisters Rhonda Pickard and Aonya Dillard, her two aunts Sherideen (Henry) Dillard and Charlotte (Lonnie) Dillard all of Eden, North Carolina, her two uncles Robert Reid of Eden, North Carolina and Nash (Peggy) Millner of Greenville, North Carolina; god sister Jasmine Millner of Eden, NC, a goddaughter Niyah Dawes of Eden, North Carolina; a host of great aunts, numerous other relatives, and cherished friends.

A Public viewing for Miss. Tisha Millner will be on Sunday, February 16, 2025; from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel; 417 Price Street, Eden, NC.

Family visitation viewing for Miss. Tisha Millner will be on Monday February 17, 2025; from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at New St. Paul Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Miss. Tisha Millner will be conducted at 1:00pm on Monday, February 17, 2025, at New St. Paul Baptist Church, in Eden, NC. Interment will follow in the Hamlin Cemetery, Eden, NC.
