Mollie Bell Totten Slade

Yanceyville, NC- It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Mollie Bell  Totten Slade 86, of  583 Old Farm Apt. 10-A  Yanceyville, NC who passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at SOVAH Health, Danville, VA.

She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late  Robert Totten and Rebecca Lea Totten, born April 24, 1936. She was a member of Yanceyville Missionary Baptist Church, where she was mother of the church.

She was a homemaker.

She was married to Willie Elbert Slade Sr. who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by on daughter, Priscillia Diane Slade Fuller; one son, Jimmie Russell Slade.

Her survivors are two sons, Elbert Slade Jr. of Alexandria, VA.; and Wayne Slade of Yanceyville, NC; one sister, Mary Mae Totten Long; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be Tuesday August 9, 2022 4 to 7 PM in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022 1:00 PM at Yanceyville Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
