Mr. Artie Junior Hampton

Axton, VA. - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Artie Junior Hampton, age 70, of 127 Hampton Circle, Axton, Virginia. He passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Artie, the son of the late Artie Hampton and Mattie Blackstock Hampton, was born on March 18, 1954, in Rockingham County, North Carolina.

He was employed as a factory worker at Fieldcrest Mills in Eden, North Carolina and Artie married the late Christine Hampton.

He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Eden, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Artie was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean Hairston and his four brothers, Albert Hampton, Calvin Blackstock, Otis Hampton, Maurice Hampton.

Mr. Artie Junior Hampton leaves to cherish his memories to his daughter, Artea Hampton of the home, his son Quinten Hampton of Cascade, Virginia, his sister Dorothy Broadnax (Howard) of Cascade, Virginia; and his brother, George Hampton of Danville, Virginia; and his four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.

Memorial service for Mr. Artie Junior Hampton will be Saturday, November 30, 2024, 1:00 pm in the chapel of Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC. Elder Jumper will deliver the words of comfort.
