Danville, Va. - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Azra J. Keene 33, of 254 Fagan St. Danville, Va., who passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 .
He was the son of the Michael Keene and Annette Hunt Keene, born November 11, 1990 in Chapel Hill, NC. He joined Mineral Springs Baptist church and was employed as a driver at the Rock Quarry in Danville, Va.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Latoya Keene; one brother, Anthony Keene.
His survivors are mother, Annette Keene of Yanceyville, NC; father, Michael Keene of Danville, Va.; one son, Azra Keene Jr, of Reidsville, NC; two daughters, Latoya Keene and Azaria Keene both of Burlington, NC; two brothers, Michael Keene of Burlington, NC and Andre Keene of Los Angeles, California; one sister, Lakeetta Anderson McNair (Adrian); one niece, Zoe McNair; four nephews, Elijah McNair, Daniel McNair, Bryson McNair and Javier Shaw; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.
A public viewing for Mr. Azra Jerman Keene will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville NC.
Family visitation for Mr. Azra Jerman Keene will be on Sunday, October 13, 2024; from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, Pelham, NC.
Funeral Services for Mr. Azra Jerman Keene will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, Pelham, NC. Rev Freddie Seabrooks will deliver the words of comfort.
Interment will follow in Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, NC.
