Mr. Billy Mims

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Billy Mims of Yanceyville, NC who passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

He was native of Caswell County, NC, the son of the late Roy Graves and Annie Wilson Mims Watlington, born November 29, 1942.  He was a member of New Ephesus Baptist Church and was an employee of Burlington Industries before retirement.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Zadie Holloway.

His survivors are daughters, Amy Mims of McLeansville, NC and Angela Mims of Burlington NC; son, Roderick Mims of Yanceyville, NC; brother, Bobby Mims (Dianne) of Pelham, NC; Sisters, Paulette Ferguson and Sally Henderson, both of Yanceyville, NC; and Marie Graves (George) of Reidsville, NC; Stepsisters, Melissa Womack (Harold), and Mary Elmore (Joe); Stepbrothers, Herbert Watlington Jr. and Mike Watlington;  grandchildren, Destyni Watkins, Jae'don Price, De'Markus Mims and De'Siah Mims; other relatives and friends.

A family visitation & viewing for Mr. Billy Mims will be on Sunday, December 8,, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. in  the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Mims will be conducted Sunday, December 8, 2024 2:00 pm  in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
